I have built a custom bike useing a 45 wla engine.
I have changed bike to 12 volt useing a cycle electic
generator. I ordered a voltage regulator from 45 restoration co. and it is a German made regulator, with
German instructions, which I can't read.
Could someone draw me a simple diagram on how to wire this
generator and voltage regulator to the battery. And as you may be aware, the lettering on the voltage regulator lugs do not corespond to the lettering on the generator.Where the generator has A for armator and F for field, the voltage regulator is marked with B- B+ ect.
If you would likt to e-mail me a diagram, my address is.

B+ is battery pos.
B- is battery -

if you look at a vw bug wiring diagram for 1967 to 1973 it is the same. that is where that regulator comes from. just google it. or look in the book "how to keep your vw alive for the complete idiot"
