V45 Magna

V45 Magna

Posted by Sparrow on 8/14/2008
I picked up this old 1984 vf700c magna for $250 and redid the seat myself with a $6 piece of vynle and an electric meat carving knife. I replaced the bars with a euro style bar and beefed up the tires by 10mm., took off the front fender, replaced the carbs (mistakenly bought a set of california carbs that where restricted by emmissions and smaller jets) so I rebuilt and jetted them, harley pipes, removed guage cluster because inop., removed sissy bar....well because its a sissy bar, repainted all black plastic trim, have on order stainless steel alan head bolt kit, bought black wrap for muffler and tonight I am painting the tank and side covers black with hvlp gun, soon will be powder coating handle bars and rims black too. My plan was to make it a MUSCLE BIKE and it has worked out ok. One thing I can say is this bike's throttle feels like an 1100cc. Thanks for looking
