Raked Road King ( Before changes)

(Abear)
Got a wild hair and decided to saw the steering head off of my bike. Added 8 deg. to the rake.
That was just the begining. If you are planning to do something like this, realize that it is like a drug and you can't just quit!
I then changed fenders, wheels (chrome fatboy on back & Hogpro Vegas 21" on front), all lighting is custom, front blinker bar is hand bent and chromed with Rick Doss markers. I welded a box on the back fender to mount the billet plate holder and light. Rear blinkers are Auto-Gem and have been discontinued.
Got it all put back together and looked for something else. Sawed off my pipes, chromed lower legs & cookie cutters, Sawed off rear crash bars and welded holes and painted black.
Stepped back again, had to chrome the front calipers. Should have them by the weekend. Will have some good finished pics soon. And add some pages with pics and more detail of the steps, no time now.

Newest update on the bike transforming SICKNESS!!!

It's been a while since I updated my page. Well since then I have installed some 99 softail forward controls and a Hot Match kickstand. Had my hand controls chromed and added all braided cables. I pulled off the BIG front fender and ordered a longboy chopper fender. It is getting painted now. I also bought a weld-on stretch tank kit and a Hot Match flush mount gas cap. I welded up the hole where the gas gauge was. Just finished welding the tank extensions & gas cap (G-job on the night shift) and brought it to the local seat builder to cover the modified pan with ostrich. I'm getting the whole bike painted solid black and will have some finished pics soon. P.S. I just built a new sissybar out of 5/8" hex bar. It's kinda old school cool. I welded it to my detatchable brackets and sent it to the chrome shop.
